Special Patmos Commemorative Holocaust Event in Helsinki

The Rogatchi Foundation was very glad to participate at the Special Holocaust Commemorative Event conducted by The Patmos Foundation in Helsinki, Finland on January 22nd, 2018 . The event was the second event opening the official commemoration of the International Holocaust Remembrance Day 2018 in Finland.

Dr Inna Rogatchi was a key-note speaker at the event, with her special lecture Holocaust Legacy and the Challenges of Post-Holocaust in which she covered a wide range of the disturbing new phenomenons and recent tendencies which does require serious public attention with regard to revisionism towards the history of the WWII and the Holocaust, and the new challenges that the post-Holocaust time has brought to us, especially during the last several years.

There was vivid discussion after the lecture evoked by many good questions from the public.

In the second part of the event, the Inna Rogatchi's internationally acclaimed film The Lessons of Survival. Conversations with Simon Wiesenthal

had been screened, with huge success and mighty applause by the public.

The Rogatchi Foundation warmly grateful to our good friends and colleagues from The Patmos Foundation for organising that warm and meaningful event on such important theme.
